On January 15 and 17, 2008 IFACT-GC conducted two anti-piracy training seminars in China, one in Shanghai and one in Beijing. Over 170 law enforcement officers attended from Macau Customs, the Beijing Municipal and District Culture Market Administrative Enforcement Task Forces and the Shanghai Municipal and District Culture Market Administrative Task Forces. Sam Ho, Executive Director and General Manager of IFACT-GC, updated officers on the latest trends in piracy, the Internet piracy situation and the identification of pirate products.
The training was arranged in association with the Motion Picture Association Beijing Office, the Japan Copyright Office and the Content Japan Mark Committee of the Content Overseas Distribution Association.
