On February 25, Sam Ho and K.K. Lau of IFACT-GC were joined by Simon Wan of the Hong Kong Customs & Excise Department to jointly conduct an IPR Seminar for 75 students at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocation Education – Kwai Chung. The seminar discussed possible legal liability arising from illegal downloading and highlighted the risks that both the Institute and students face if exposing their computers to harmful viruses, worms, Trojan horses and the risk of data loss and identity theft.
