On March 5, IFACT-GC’s Sam Ho and Tony Shu of the Movie Producers & Distributors Association of HK Limited conducted an IPR Seminar for 129 students at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocation Education – Shatin. The seminar talked about the challenges faced by the movie industry, the importance of IPR protection and illegal P2P file sharing. The seminar highlighted the risks that students face by exposing their computers to harmful viruses, worms, Trojan horses and the risk of data loss and identity theft. The interactive seminar was well received by the students.
