From March 17 – 20 IFACT-GC participated in the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART), promoting IPR protection while demonstrating support for the event and the worldwide entertainment industry.

An annual event organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, this year’s FILMART attracted 483 exhibitors and was organized around more than 60 events, including seminars, press conferences, cocktail receptions and premieres. 

A record number of visitors attended the function from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, France Cambodia, Columbia, Croatia, the Kiribati Republic and Myanmar.

The IFACT-GC exhibit was well-visited, attracting attention from HKSAR government officials and entertainment industry representatives. IFACT-GC staff issued promotional material and advice on protecting movies from piracy.
