On August 27 and 29, 2008 – the IFACT-GC in association with the CJ Mark Committee of the Content Overseas Distribution Association conducted two anti-piracy seminars for Law Enforcement Agencies, one in Taiwan and one in Shenzhen. The seminars, intended to update frontline law enforcement officers on the latest trends in piracy and identification of pirate products, were attended by more than 160 Taiwan IPR Police Officers and Shenzhen Culture Task Force Officers. Meetings with the enforcement authorities were held after the seminars discussing future cooperation in the fight against piracy.
