(Hong Kong) IFACT-GC assisted Content Overseas Distribution Association (CODA) to conduct a content protection seminar for Hong Kong Customs – the leading IPR enforcement agency in Hong Kong. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation around the world, our Japanese guest speakers were not able to present in Hong Kong and needed to conduct the seminar via Zoom. For the prevention measures in Hong Kong, the scale of the seminar needed to be reduced, all the attendees needed to wear masks, kept social distance and no refreshment served during the seminar.
The seminar supported by speakers from Japan: Agency for Cultural Affairs, Japan Video Software Association (JVA) and CODA, provided front-line enforcement officers with the latest information on Japan’s current online infringement trends and countermeasures against online infringement. The interactive seminar was well received by 29 persons including 23 Customs officers.
