(Taiwan) IFACT-GC assisted Content Overseas Distribution Association (CODA) to conduct a content protection seminar for the Taichung Battalion, Criminal Investigation Police Investigation Brigade (CIBr) of Criminal Investigation Bureau, one of the leading intellectual property enforcement agencies in Taiwan. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the seminar was conducted through Zoom.
The seminar supported by the speakers from WOWOW Inc. and Taichung Battalion of CIBr, provided attendees with latest information on the trends and countermeasures against online infringement and the successful OTT infringement raids in Taiwan. The interactive seminar was well received by 27 persons including two senior police officer, 18 police officers from Taichung Battalion and representatives from Taiwan OTT Association (TOTTA).
