(Hong Kong) IFACT-GC attended the movie screening of “AIR” organized by the US Consulate General Hong Kong and Macau at the Golden Scene Cinema in Kennedy Town. This year’s World IP Day theme is “Women and Intellectual Property: Accelerating Innovation and Creativity“.

(Summary: Hong Kong is a special place with creativity and innovation, the society has a special source with great creative talent, entrepreneur, skill set and capital, that bring great success, prosperity and benefit to the people in Hong Kong and the country. It is important that IP is protected. As the Hong Kong Copyright (Amendment Bill) 2022 will be effective on May 1, it is a new tool to fight against online piracy. It is important that more people know that their ideas, IP and business are protected in HK. He also mentioned another good documentary “The Last Dance” and reminded to choose legitimate way when viewing movies. He specially thanked IFACT-GC and WB for their generous support to the screening.)
